Arden approaches life with an eager, strong, enthusiastic attitude. She has a true love for dance, theater, music, & writing. Thriving best during challenges, she loves breaking the status quo, asking questions, & striving to become a better version of herself daily.

In May 2018, Arden graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance with a concentration in Performance, Choreography and Theory. She grew up studying jazz, tap, ballet & musical theater at Rhythm Dance Studio in Matthews, NC.

She continued to study these dance forms throughout her years at UNCC. She was introduced to several other dance genres & performing arts as well, as she was actively involved in the university’s theater & music departments. She was a member of the Dance Team at UNCW her freshman year, & after transferring to Charlotte, was a member of the UNCC Dance Team her sophomore & junior years.

She extensively studied West African, physical theater (circus/aerial arts) ballet, vintage jazz, modern (Graham, Horton, Umfundalai, and Silvestre technique), pointe, & Latin dance during her time in college. She has performed with the VIZN Project under Troy Haywood, SHAE Movement African Arts under Niche Faulkner & LeShae Stukes, The Nouveau Sud Project under Carlos Alexis Cruz, & has attended the Rockettes Summer Intensive & Martha Graham Winter Intensive. She has been teaching several styles of dance to children for years, & also is a certified fitness instructor teaching Barre, deep stretch, & other exercise classes.

An avid learner, she loves to ask questions & spark conversation among her family and friends, especially through her art. Although she has a large dance & theater background, she loves to write poetry & make music. She hopes to inspire others through her words & actions used not only in her artwork, but her everyday life.
